Planning Alerts is in its Founding Public Beta. Our priority is to make local planning discovery and alerts genuinely useful before introducing optional consumer subscriptions. There are no ads, no aggressive consumer upsell, and no promise that every future tool will be free.

Everything above is included for an early user who wants to understand planning activity around the places they care about. Future paid tools will add specialist service and workflow; they will not make basic local awareness deliberately poor.
The first 5,000 verified accounts will be eligible for Founding Local benefits when optional consumer memberships are introduced. We will not publish a fabricated signup count or promise every future feature free forever.
What will not happen: surprise charges, silent paywalls, or selling uncertain-source records as professional data.
Future optional tools will be priced for the service — not the record.
If consumer subscriptions are introduced, they will focus on wider monitoring, dedicated change tracking, organisation, portfolio workflow and cleared-data exports—not simply on viewing a planning record.

Why we are not pushing consumer subscriptions today
We are deliberately using the beta to earn trust, improve local coverage and confirm which features make a meaningful difference. Optional consumer tools will return only when they are useful, operationally reliable and supported by the relevant source rights. We will explain any packaging change in advance.
Developer API
The developer API is a separate commercial product: start with a 14-day, 1,000-request trial, then choose API Starter (£29/month), Growth (£99/month) or Pro (£299/month). The paid feed uses only Planning Data records cleared for commercial reuse under OGL v3, with attribution.
