We plan to reduce the overall overgrown nature of the area known as the plateau within the woods to try to encourage a meadow like space with more natural light passing through the canopy. No trees within a 4 metre distance from the existing boundary line will be worked so as not to impact the view of the wood from outside. Where possible any trees removed will be replaced on a 2 to 1 basis and used to reinforce or plug gaps in the existing boundary. Check whether public comments are accepted
Application types and public commenting eligibility vary. Follow the council's published instructions, including any registration and personal-information requirements.
Write a material planning consideration
Comments must relate to planning matters — e.g. impact on neighbours, traffic, parking, design, or the local area. Personal objections (e.g. "I don't like the owner") are not considered. Be specific and factual.
Submit before the consultation deadline
Use the published public consultation deadline on the official record. Do not calculate it from the received date or substitute a statutory-consultee date. Ask the council if the deadline or eligibility is unclear.
💡 Tip: A recorded undecided status does not mean comments are accepted. Check the council's current record and meeting rules before taking part.
